The Blue Angels nickname was chosen by the original squadron members. While preparing for a flight demonstration in New York City, a squadron member read about the famous Blue Angel nightclub in the New Yorker magazine. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Water coasters operate using three different types of technology. Some water coasters are powered by high-speed conveyor belts. Others use water jets that spray water to force the raft along its path. The newest water coasters feature special Special magnetic rafts are used with linear induction motors to produce the ride of a water coaster. The same technology has also been used in Japan to power special trains.tors called linear induction motors. These motors create special moving magnetic fields to generate motion .
The Olympic Games began more than 3,000 years ago. The Games were held every four years in Olympia, Greece. They were in honor of the god Zeus. But then they ended for 1,500 years. In 1896, new Olympic Games began in Athens, Greece. Almost 250 athletes from 14 nations competed in 43 events. They were held every four years. But there were no Games during the two world wars. There are stories in Greek mythology that say Heracles, the son of Zeus, started the Games. In Roman mythology, he is called Hercules, and Zeus is called Jupiter. The old Olympic Games were held every four years between August 6 and September 19. They took place in Olympia, Greece. So, they were called the Olympics.
We will need to feed 10 billion people and nature can't keep up with demand, so we will need much more ocean farming for fish. But algae farming is also on the way for renewable energy, and maybe even for growth of feedstock (raw materials) or resource extraction via GM seaweed or algae. Transmission will be just as easy as other forms of brain augmentation. Picking up thoughts and relaying them to another brain will not be much harder than storing them on the net. It is more likely that direct brain links using electronics will achieve this, but GM will help a lot by increasing longevity - keeping people alive until electronic immortality technology is freely available at reasonable cost.
Gears can be connected together to complete three basic tasks. First, gears can be used to increase speed. For example, if a gear with more teeth passes power to a gear with fewer teeth, the second gear will turn more quickly.Gears come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes, because they can be customized to perform many different tasks in all sorts of machines. Some of the most popular types of gears you may hear about include helical gears, bevel gears, spur gears, worm gears, rack and pinion gears, and sun and planet gears. So who came up with these incredible devices? Some historians believe gears date back to at least the 27th century B.C. when they were used in a chariot in China. The ancient Greeks, including Aristotle, also described gear-like devices. Greek mathematician Hero of Alexandria was the first to write specificly about gears in 50 A.D.
Today we are going to learn about "Why are Animals Cute?" There are multiple reasons of why they are cute. Maybe they are just cute because theyr'e cute. No reason. Actually there is a reason. 2 reasons. The first reason is maybe its just an instinct. An instinct to help and care for them and want to give love. But were not sure. The second reason is maybe it's there stuby legs and their big eyes? Or their big head and their small round body? Believe it or not it is the same way with human babys. Big head, small bodys, or their cute eyes! No one really knows why we go Awwwwwww to cute little baby animals or humans. But my 2 reasons are what scientists are saying. (and Mytery Doug)
